Getting Clear….. The only way to relieve mental and physical stress
Stop! Before you make your next move, ask yourself: Are you clear? What does being clear mean? Being clear means you completely trust who you are, what you are attracting, and the direction you are headed in right now. Being unclear means there is something preventing you from completely trusting yourself, right now. Most people move without trust and therefore move while in self doubt. When moving in self doubt, your interpretation of what you are experiencing is distorted and confusing.
Now, can you see why cultivating Self Trust is paramount to a healthy state of mind and stress free living?
Take for instance a person who has moved in doubt for so many years that they are unclear about every decision they make in life. Some people even get to the point where they stop making decisions and just react to their circumstances and therefore choose things for themselves by default. This person may be known as a great fixer, a very nice person and even a cooperative team player, however when a person is operating in reactionary mode, they are behaving like a robot and literally “the walking dead.” What most people do not realize is that a person in this condition is not conscious of themselves. They are on life support. They have disconnected their listening from their true inner voice and are unconsciously connected to artificial voices floating around in their mind. These artificial voices function as an artificial intelligence telling them what they should want, what to do, when to do it and how to do it. And eventually they get to a point where they are unable to distinguish what is a real desire in their life from what is not. And without a divine intervention, they will become more and more unconscious of who they are and their purpose for being on this planet earth.
It is time for a divine intervention, now. It is time to resuscitate and cleanse the mind in order to Get Clear and fully live.
What exactly do you need to clear? In order to function at your optimum you need to clear out all those artificial voices in your mind. Even if you have one artificial voice floating around in your mind, it can slow down your thinking process, cloud your view, decrease your self trust and drain your energy.
Just like your physical body needs a cleansing on a regular basis to keep it optimally functioning, your mind has a mental body and it requires a cleansing too. Your mind becomes unclear when you are distracted and you do not always obey your innate intelligence also known as your inner voice. Because of this distraction, your mind is open to internalizing other people’s voices. Other people’s voices are artificial nutrition for your mind. These artificial voices compete with and crowd out your innate intelligence. Now you have to choose which voice you are going to listen to.
Every time you choose to not listen to your innate voice, you are choosing to not fully express yourself. This is known as self suppression. The more you self suppress the more clutter you have in your mind. Mental clutter can also be seen as mental constipation. Getting clear is similar to having a bowel movement except it is a mental bowel movement. Once your mind has an exceptional bowel movement, you will be clearer about your purpose which in turns increases your self trust. And the decisions you make in your life will be more harmonious because they will be powered by self trust.
There are several techniques you can use to facilitate a mental cleansing. The one I highly recommend is similar to meditation however it is a working meditation meaning you can do it 24/7. You do not have to be in a sitting position or in a quiet environment. You can do it no matter what activity you are involved in. It is called the 7 Day Listening Diet. It is very effective at cleansing your mind and increasing your inner listening skills.
Here is how the Listening Diet Works:
For the next 7 consecutive days you are going to focus your listening on you. In everything you do listen for you. Pay attention to every word that comes out of your mouth for they are the clues to identifying any artificial voices floating around in your mind. As you listen to your words you are also checking to see if your words are aligning with what you truly desire to experience.
Here are a few helpful tips to help you successfully complete the Listening Diet:
1. Read only if you are reading about yourself or seeking more information on a particular question you have asked yourself as it relates to something you truly desire to experience.
2. Listen for yourself when others are speaking – this means trust and seek to understand how what they are saying to you applies to what you are truly desiring to experience.
3. Practice the diet if necessary for a few days until you get the hang of it. Once you get it, then concentrate and commit to doing the diet for seven consecutive days 24 hours a day.
4. In order to maximize your mental cleansing experience, keep a journal of all the things you hear yourself say about yourself and what others are saying about you.
5. Remember it is ok to use the word “I” often; it truly is not a bad word like society makes it out to be. Without “I”, there is no “We”. In reality “I” and “We” need each other.
This diet sounds selfish because it is. In order to get ourselves out of our conditions we must begin to pay more attention to ourselves as well as take full responsibility for our words and actions. This is what being selfish is really all about.
